Majlis Bandaraya Petaling Jaya (MBPJ Tigers) created a new chapter in the TNB Malaysian Junior Hockey League when they clinched the Division One League title for the first time at the MBPJ Stadium. The champions defeated Bukit Jalil Sports School Thunderbolt 7-6 in a penalty shootout after registering a 2-2 draw in regulation time.
