Cheras BC’s coach, Nova Armada was delighted after the win which kept his team on top the JPL2017 Division 1 standings.

Defending champions, Petaling BC suffered a shock 8-9 loss to Rawang BC in today’s JPL2017 first leg at Sports Arena Puchong.

“With two big wins yesterday and today’s victory over Ampang Jaya, I am confident that we can challenge for the title this year although our initial target was to only finish in the top 3. Each team in this division has their own strengths, so it is difficult to predict the outcome”, he added.

In the morning session, Bandar Maharani BC continued their winning start to life in JPL Division 1 as they narrowly edged Ampang Jaya BC 10-9. Defending champions, Petaling BC had no problem overcoming Puchong United BC 12-4 as Rawang BC recorded a 10-8 win over Kepong BC.
