Teams from Malaysia, India and New Zealand will compete for the first time in the 2016 Australian Hockey League (AHL) which will take place from September 29–October 9 at the Perth Hockey Stadium. Along with teams from each State and Territory, the Malaysians will be represented by the men’s senior team (Malaysian Tigers), men’s development team (Malaysian Blues) and the women’s seniors (Malaysian Tigress).
