Biarpun sekali lagi dilabel sebagai antara pasukan pilihan untuk menggegar Kejohanan Ragbi 7 Sepasukan Kolej Melayu Kuala Kangsar (MCKK Premier 7s) yang akan berlangsung pada 23-25 Februari ini, namun Sekolah Sukan Tunku Mahkota Ismail (SSTMI) tetap melakukan persiapan rapi serta tidak memandang mudah laluan mereka kali ini.
